Yanks Sweep Double Header

My Takeaways from Today's Games:

New York — The Yankees entered play today with a bitter taste in their mouths after an awful loss on Friday looking to bounce back and win a Series, but it would take two to take the series.

Game 1:

The Yankees handed the ball to their Ace in Game one, looking to go 6-0 in his starts in 2025. Fried’s command was shaky in the first two innings, allowing 1 run (a single/E5, Wild pitch) on a Groundout, but walked 2 in the first, and allowed 4 hits and a lot of deep counts (37 pitches). Max Fried would settle down in the third, but Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman would not, but we will get to that later.

Fried continued to pitch well, giving six innings of one-run ball. Yerry De Los Santos would pitch 2 scoreless innings and Tyler Matzek would finish the game allowing 1 run in the ninth.
