Yankees-Dodgers Postponed Saturday

The Bronx, NY --- The game between the New York Yankees (54-43) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (62-36) Saturday was postponed due to inclement weather in New York, the Yankees announced Saturday afternoon.

The Yankees and Dodgers will resume play as part of a split doubleheader Sunday, with game one starting at 12:35 on YES Network and game two starting at 7:20 pm on NBC's 'Sunday Night Baseball.' Aaron Boone told the media that the Yankees will "probably" keep the same pitching rotation with lefty Ryan Weathers starting the first game and Cam Schlittler the nightcap. The decision has not been finalized as of yet.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has yet to announce his pitching rotation for tomorrow, but with Schlittler going in the nightcap, presumably he will keep it the same as well.

Another Judge Update

The Yankees announced yesterday that Aaron Judge has had imaging done on his ribcage but has not been cleared for baseball activities despite showing some healing. The team received a second opinion from another doctor that confirmed the diagnosis.

The update is not entirely new and should not be viewed as anything detrimental. The Yankees still believe Judge will return to their lineup at some point this season; the question is when, and nobody knows the answer to this question as of yet.
